Hey everyone! 

What's been going on:

I apologize, it has been a while since I caught y'all up on life with the world race!

Starting on September 11th my team is meeting in Gainesville Georgia for training. We will be training for 5 weeks and then we begin domestic outreach in Georgia on October 16th. Then on November 5th we will be launching out to ROMANIA????. In between launch to Romania and domestic outreach we have a few days to debrief. This is an awesome opportunity to spend time with God and our squad and reflect on some of the things God has been teaching us the past few weeks.

How God is moving:

This whole summer has honestly been amazing! I have been working with the students at LifePoint Church, and it has honestly been such a blessing! I have been able to start building close relationships that I am confident God will continue to bless! If y'all are reading, I love you and miss you so much already! God has also been moving in my life by providing such an amazing team of women to experience this next 9 months with.

My team:

About 3 weeks ago I was assigned a team from my squad of 28 racers. Our team is 6 people; 1 alumni racer and 5 of us newbie's. In just the few weeks we have been talking I have realized that God has blessed me with some truly beautiful people! Our team name is "Avoda", we chose this name because avoda means work, worship, and service. We have all been praying this word over our team, the goal being a team that works, worships, and serves for Gods glory. 

When you will hear from me:

The world race organization gives us time every weekend to focus on reaching out to our supporters. My goal is to post updates every 2 weeks. I am still praying about whether or not I am going to delete Snapchat. I have found that it honestly becomes a distraction from being present where God is asking me to. At the same time, I would like to keep being able to reach out to y'all using the app. I'll keep you updated. I will still have my Instagram and regular texting so you can always reach me through that, I just might respond a week late. I am hoping to be able to post little updates on Instagram as well. Anyways, I love you all and will miss you lots! Thank you for all your prayers for me and my team. I have you in my prayers as well!
